The sealing materials manufactured by Fermit SA are named MARSIT and NOVAFER and are used for automotive sealing gaskets production and for industrial use. The company is agreed supplier for the gas industry, having a Technical Agreement to deliver to the gas distribution and exploitation companies.
The two categories of sealing materials manufactured by Fermit are:
- Non asbestos sealing materials for sealing gaskets, branded "MARSIT" which have resistance of temperature, high pressure and different work fields (acids, salts, bases, gas, etc)
- Complex material sandwich type,"NOVAFER" is a sealing material with metallic core obtained through compression of a soft paper on both sides of a perforated steel plate, especially made for cylinder head gaskets and intake and exhaust manifold.

MARSIT materials are delivered as follows:
- Standard sheet 1500mm X 1.500mm ± 5%;
- Special dimensions 1500mm X 3000mm excepting the reinforced sealing material.
At requirement the sheets could be delivered graphitized on both sides.
